At Preston Candover Primary School we ensure that all children are valued equally, regardless of their abilities and/or social, emotional or behavioural needs. The school recognises that all children are entitled to have access to a broad and balanced curriculum which is differentiated to meet their individual needs. We support the vulnerable pupils in the school, in partnership with their parents/ carers, and work alongside the whole school staff to enable them to achieve their best in becoming more confident and independent learners. We highly value the contribution that parents make to this process and welcome parents into school to discuss the needs of their children. The Inclusion Leader/SENCo (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) works across the school, enabling smooth and careful transition for the children joining the school or moving on, all the way from pre-school to Year 7.
